This week, the tour stops on the EKU soccer locker room.
The brand new locker room opened in September of 2017 as a part of the enlargement venture on the east aspect of Roy Kidd Stadium. Your entire first flooring is devoted to the good thing about Colonel soccer student-athletes and features a group locker room that includes a group lounge, tools room and a sport day coaching space.
The ability is devoted in honor of the 1967 Grantland Rice Bowl championship group. It was this group that ignited Jap Kentucky College’s soccer championship custom. A $250,000 donation from a member of the 1967 championship group, Ted Inexperienced, helps bear in mind these pioneers and helps pave the best way for future gridiron success at Jap.
A gamers’ lounge is linked to the locker room. The lounge consists of televisions, online game consoles, a ping pong table, pool table and pop-a-shot. Enhancements to the gamers’ lounge have been made potential by a beneficiant reward from former Colonel All-American Ernie Home.
