The enterprise introduced the closure in an open letter posted on its web site and Fb.
“Expensive Jacksonville, it’s with heavy hearts we should announce that as of Sunday, February 23rd 2020, SMASH Sports activities Bar & Restaurant will now not be open for enterprise,” the announcement learn.

The house owners couldn’t be reached for remark Sunday.
In its goodbye message, Smash thanked its prospects, workers, supporters and “the varied charities and native companies that selected to companion with us commonly. We cherish your help and the nice reminiscences made collectively.”
Smash opened in November 2018 within the Baymeadows Junction procuring heart at Baymeadows Street and Philips Freeway within the former Pure nightclub.
